COS and CO2 are having a ball…. an Anniversary Ball, celebrating 30 years of CO2 productions.

Saturday 12th July
Wedding, Earls Colne
It was a great gig, everyone was up dancing, and we even had someone audition for drummer (and it wasn't Ben.....)

Sunday 13th July - Colchester Castle Park Bandstand 3pm-5pm
Rounding off our busy weekend of playing, we unfortunately experienced the worst weather that we've had for any of our concerts in Colchester Castle Park. So thank you to everyone who turned out in the rain to support us. We still had lots of fun, and hope that we brightened the day for everyone else!

Sunday 3rd August - Brightlingsea Festival

Thousands of music-lovers joined us in the hot sunshine for the 14th Brightlingsea Music Festival (our 6th festival!). Our special Brightlingsea supporters, the 'Loons' once again had special T-shirts printed, this time with "We Love Dave!!" on the back.
Brightlingsea & Wivenhoe Chronicle:
"Closing the event were the Sweeting Swing Band who came complete with their own official fan club. Their wide variety of swing music even included an ambitious version of Queen's classic Bohemian Rhapsody. To end the show large numbers took to dancing happily to the band."

Saturday 4 October at 8pm - "Dance" Layer de la Haye QE Hall, CO2 0GE
"Just to thank you so much for the wonderful evening we had when the Sweeting Swing Band played at Layer village hall. We raised £575 for the rebuilding of our small hall. Hopefully, we will book the band again another year."
