"I would just like to say a very big 'thank you' to you for coming along and performing at the Charity Ball last Friday.I have received many compliments from the guests regarding The Sweeting Swing Band and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening - thank you!
You will be pleased to know that during the evening we actually raised 754 for my charity, which this year is Training for Diabetics." Chairman of Tendring District Council

Dance for St Helena Hospice, Frinton Tennis Club - Friday 11 May 2007
A really fantastic atmosphere was created at Frinton Tennis Club for this dance, thanks to a hugely appreciative audience of both dancers and music-lovers. The music seemed to go down very well as the band were rewarded with a standing ovation at the end of the evening!
We look forward to returning to this lovely venue next April.
Open Air Music Evening, Gt Wigborough - Sat 21 July 2007 Thank you to all the hardy souls who turned out to support Essex Wildlife Trust at Abbotts Hall Farm for their Music Evening. The evening stayed dry though did turn quite chilly once the sun went down, but most of the audience seemed well prepared for this, with coats, woolly hats and blankets!
Thanks to Keith B for his feedback: "We really enjoyed your performance on Saturday.”
"Thank you again for coming along to Abbotts Hall last month and giving us such a great evening ~ the Sweeting Swing Band was obviously very popular with the audience, we all enjoyed ourselves and would very much like you to come back again next year if you are able to do so."
D. Davis, Essex Wildlife Trust
Colchester Castle Park bandstand - Sunday 12 August 2007

Thanks to everyone who turned out to listen to us in Colchester Castle Park. Fortunately the rain didn't come to much, and we were delighted to see so many people there, especially those who had a dance! We enjoyed ourselves and it seems that the audience did too.
"I heard you at Castle Park today and I would just like to say what a great performance it was. I really liked Fields of Gold..
Thanks for a great performance by far the best I have heard at the park." - Dave Atkins
"Thank you and your band for putting on such a great performance on Sunday! I did call into the Park for a short while and the large audience all seemed to be really enjoying themselves. It was just what was needed on a summer afternoon.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you all in the Park again next year."
I.B., Parks and Recreation Officer, Colchester Borough Council

1940's Dance, Gt Bentley Village Hall - Saturday 25 August 2007
We were really transported back to the 1940's thanks to the Gt Bentley and Thorrington Royal British Legion, who had done a fantastic job decorating Gt Bentley Village Hall. There were wartime posters, pictures and flags, military vehicles parked outside, plenty of people in 1940's clothes, and even spam sandwiches!
The band received a very warm welcome, with plenty of dancing and an invitation to come back again next year! We look forward to it"!
“I would like to thank you and The Sweeting Swing Band for playing at the Forties Night on Sat 25 August. We raised over 600 for the welfare of ex-service people and the night would not have been such a success without your excellent Band." E.Payne, Hon Secretary, Royal British Legion (Gt Bentley & Thorrington)
