26 February - Concert, Stanway Village Hall
"What a lovely evening, please will you come back next year?"

3 July - Summer Ball, Masonic Hall, Kirby
Just a note to say a very big "Thankyou" to the Sweeting Swing Band for another excellent evening of entertainment for our Summer Ball. All of our guests had a superb evening of music dancing to a very varied selection of music from Glenn miller, rock n roll and party. This is the second year that we have booked you for our Summer Ball and I will be in touch early in 2011 to arrange this year's Ball arrangements.

Many thanks again, Richard Lewis Functions Manager Frinton and Walton Masonic Hall Association

11 July - Bandstand, Colchester Castle Park
Another successful afternoon at the bandstand, the weather turned out ok, and we had a good crowd including dancers.  The highlight was the debut of our new vocal arrangement of 'Feeling Good' created by Jon Abbott.

17th July - Abbotts Hall, Gt Wigborough
A great evening at Abbotts Hall again this year. Its such a beautiful setting for an open air concert.  Hope to be back next year, maybe with an afternoon concert instead.

1st August - Brightlingsea Music Festival

"I was at the Brightlingsea Music Festival for 3 days manning one of the stalls with my wife - the whole event was great but your band was awesome and a real fitting end to the festival - look forward to seeing you perform again"

21st August - 60th Wedding Anniversary
"Just to let you know I have had no end of phone calls this morning from family and guests siniging praises for the band.
Alison, Jane and I had a ball. Thankyou again and hopefully see you soon.
Best wishes, Jill"

6th November - Centenary Ball, Brightlingsea
"Your excellent music really made our night a particularly special one!  The wonderful tunes played were enjoyed by all and it made our Centenary Ball really 'swing'!  We would like to thank you very much for your wonderful support for our event and we hope to celebrate with you again in the future!
Best wishes
Brightlingsea Oyster Rangers"

13th November - 'A Night to Remember': 1940's themed dinner dance, Stoke by Nayland
This was a really fun evening, all the audience were in 1940's costume, and the village hall was decked out to match.  What a lovely hall to play in, and what a fantastic reception we received.  The evening was rounded off with some patriotic flag-waving and community singing worthy of the Last Night of the Proms!
"You were the star performers. Feedback has been absolutely great -
they want a repeat performance!! Certainly from my point of view and even our
chairman, we would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone - you were
fantastic. I may be looking for future dates?!
Once again thanks to all of you for a magnificent night!
Kind regards, Keith." (Keith Cook)
